Here’s the LA Times obit. My favorite Heston movie? Toss-up between “The Omega Man” and “Soylent Green.” I’d give the latter a slight edge.

    What about El Cid?

    I think the one useful thing about being associated with SLU College Republicans was the chance to meet and shake hands with Charlton Heston. My mother still has the picture framed in Hannibal.

    What about Planet of the Apes? Heston was one of my favorite actors.
