Guiliani is a true conservative...the Republican Party has been talking like populists for years, but governing like plutocrats. Guiliani represents the REAL Republican Party...and "conservativism" in general. It's merely refreshing to hear what the Wall Street and Trust Fund crowd really believes about social issues like abortion. Frankly, it's all about getting rid of black and brown babies...the overwhelming majority of abortions are done by BLACK women. The more abortions of the underclass, the less welfare, according to urban "Big Business" Republicans, of the "Gray Davis" variety.

The sooner the public realizes what a sham the Republican Party (and the Conservative Movement in general) is on social issues like multiculturalism(affirmative action and unrestrained immigration) or the profiteering by the media conglomerates of gratituous sex and violence, the sooner that politics in America shifts back to the vital center, which is traditional social values, and populist economic policies.

The "conservative" movement has only one agenda---giving the folks who have the most, a litle more, it's the philosophy of racist Dixiecrats and Trust Fund babies.

HOUSE M.D. is my favourite TV show. The main character (obviously based on Sherlock Holmes) Dr. Gregory House regularly fires off salvos at religion and religious faith. But House to his credit is an equal opportunity offender. In a recent episode the show dramatically illustrated the life of the unborn. See the Youtube video here. I wonder if Big G would approve?

Amazin, ain't it? Yet you're right, tons of "conservatives" out there perfectly prepared to bach Giuliani if push comes to shoves. And I'd bet Pat Robertson is one of them. If I'm not wrong he recently sounded off favorably on Arnold in California, rationalizing his support for embryonic stem-cell research. Then again, Pat bought Bush's support for stem cell research when Bush decided to compromise on the issue in 2001.
