I still have limited internet access at the moment — more substantial posts will be back by the beginning of next week.
In the meantime, a quick reader survey: is The Tory Anarchist due for a re-design? What blog designs should I be ripping off drawing inspiration from? Email me or leave a comment.

Should this blog’s design be altered?
As a reactionary of almost incredible shamelessness, I am happy to echo the words of Lucius Cary, 2nd Viscount Falkland (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucius_Cary%2C_2nd_Viscount_Falkland):
“If it is not necessary to change, it is necessary not to change.”

That’s rather my own feeling as well. But a redesign, and a move to a new server, would let me add a few new bells + whistles to the site: an email hotlink in every post, for example, and a tip jar.
Maybe I can just have this design modified. It’s not really great, but it’s effective enough.

I never disagree with Rob. A few minor things worth considering. Under the CATEGORIES some items have an initial Capital letter and others don’t. You may want to consider RSS or ATOM style links for feedreader access. The feedburner site is pretty easy to use and steps you through this.

Are you going to stick with wordpress?

I’d been planning to stick with Wordpress — is something else better? (Actually, I think I’ll stick with the Wordpress software, since it’s what I’m familiar with, but may switch to a new server.)

Wordpress is free software. You don´t have to comply with that horrendous government regulation know as copyright… ;)
I think that could change the image of the main frame. It´s a good and easy way to improve the layout…
